Currently Listening
The Beautiful Letdown
By Switchfoot
see related

Hi anyone who might read this. No, I'm not dead. Just busy and things. Y'know.

Things I have learned lately:

#1 Most people's lives suck. Big time.

#2 And so to survive, you have to either have something you are addicted to and can hide behind, or go insane.

#3 If that thing is anything other than God, you'll go insane anyways.

#4 Basically, I've learned for myself I can't surive without Him.

#5 I've also learned I really only have 4 friends when it comes down to it.

#6 That snow has a mind of it's own. In other words, it wouldn't come and wouldn't come and STILL wouldn't come, until the day AFTER Christmas. *rolls eyes* Yep. We had a green Christmas in the capital of Canada.

Oh yeah, I also got tired of being bugged about it and made a myspace account, so if you have one too, leave a comment and I'll add you.

Wow, today's been so fun! Well, this evening at least. I went at 5:30 to volunteer at the Carp Fair, and I was there till 9 just organizing flowers and food and easy fun things like that, and I made a friend, and everyone there was SO nice, and I found out that they offer the people who help free rides and pizza after. ( What kind of volunteering is THAT?!? that's play, not work.) I didn't get to stay, but NEXT YEAR!!!! WATCH OUT! So, the point is, if you ever get a chance to help out at the Carp Fair, do.

Hey. Wow it's been a while since I've updated. This time it's not my fault though! I've been banned from the computer for a while. Anyhow, I'm in Atlanta Georgia right now. Isn't that cool? I'm visiting my uncle and aunt down here for a couple of weeks. Nothing really big new that I can think of. I'm feeling shock that it's August already, and thinking of the things planned for September. I'm going to start choir practices, and maybe get a new piano teacher, start grade 10, start pace ( I think we're going to have a square-dancing class this year. That almost makes up for no french class.) and Marisa and I are going to spend 3 days at Upper Canada Village, and we're very excited for that. I get to share a cabin with Kendra, Jodie Sanderson, and Jessie Breault. They are such fun people. It's going to be so awesome! September is also good because it means Carp Fair time. And because Fall starts and it's my favourite season. Yay! Anything else new? Oh, Ken got me hooked on a new author. Eric Walters. I know he's a kinds writer mostly, but his books are so cool I don't care. And I've been reading "Eragon" and "Eldest" so that I know who Eragon is when Ken rants about what an idiot he is. Do you ever do that? Read a book you really hate just so you can have the fun of hating it, and laughing at the extra ridiculous scenes? I do.

I've spent most of this afternoon babysitting my cousin. Her name is DeAnn, and she is 2, and she is absolutely adorable. Except when she has a temper tantrum. She loves hats and shoes and swimming, so that's what we hear about all day long.

Anyways, I should end this now. Bye.
